5th Grade Overview
In fifth grade, teachers facilitate learning in an academically engaging and rigorous learning environment. Instruction is rooted in the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Students experience a literacy rich program that is integrated across all content areas with an emphasis on reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking.
